Terrance and Delores Bell’s journey with Bell’s Haven began long before its doors opened. Inspired by their personal experiences, they envisioned a place where every individual could feel genuinely cared for and supported. For Terrance, this vision started in his own family—growing up with a step-brother who had special needs taught him the importance of patience, understanding, and unwavering commitment. His experience shaped a deep desire to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone could thrive.
For Delores, the calling began in her youth as she helped an elderly neighbor with daily tasks, learning early on the power of kindness and support. Later, her bond with her sister, born with a disability, strengthened her resolve to ensure that people like her sister would always feel respected, valued, and loved.
Together, Terrance and Delores built Bell’s Haven on a foundation of compassion, respect, and family. Through Bell’s Haven, they offer a safe, nurturing place that embodies the same love they’ve shown their own families. Their vision is simple yet profound: to create a true haven where every individual feels they belong.
